Small stapled pamphlet in grey wraps. Part of a small limited edition, privately printed for the Charter Oak Fire Insurance Company in Hartford. Owner name in pencil on ffep and a smudge and small ink spot to cover. French flaps, woodcut illustrations. History of a great oak, sacred to the Suckiauke Indians, and left standing by agreement with them. This tree was later used to hide an important Connecticut Charter. 27 pp. History, Connecticut.
