About this Item
Subscriber's Edition, limited to 719 copied, this one numbered 311, 94pp., 35 photographs & illustrations including a map of St. Austell, blue cloth boards, original glassine wrapper. Internally very good with a little foxing to a minority of pages. Covers very good, just a touch of general wear. The glassine wrapper is quite tatty with bits of loss, etc., however it is mostly intact (remarkable that it has survived at all!) The limited subcriber's edition of Rowse's book about St. Austell, which is in larger format than the standard edition of the same year. A delightful publication richly documenting the history and topography of St. Austell in Cornwall, covering subjects such as St. Austell Church and a description of the town and the wider parish. Rowse is a well known historian and author from Cornwall. Seller Inventory # 4188
