Two hardcover bound volumes, large quarto of a weekly publication titled Fashion and Sport. Includes Vol. II - July 3, 1890 to Sept. 25, 1890 and Volume II - Oct. 2, 1890 to Feb. 26, 1891. A comprehensive overview of articles and commentary for the week on matters relating to sports and fashion in the UK. Each week had an applied image from a photograph of a notable for the week with a printed signature. Also includes photographer's names. One week was Mrs. Fit-George "amongst the leading elegantes of society,.", an article supplements the photo. A few others included Charles Noel - Lord Carnegie, Miss Florence McKenzie, the Viscountess Curzon, Mr. W.W. Read (cricket star). There are thirty-three (33) photographic images included. Photographers include Franz Baum, London Stereoptic Co., A. Denneulain and others. Heavy cover wear. Light toning on borders surrounding a few photographic images, with minimal distraction.
