Printed in New York City by Leonard & Co. 1855, 229 pp plus advertisements, 8.75 x 5.75 , 8vo, hardcover green cloth. In fair condition, with staining and wear to boards and spine. Staining to interior of front board. Loss of binding to head and heel of spine. Hinges remain in good condition with minor wear towards the front and back. Text block remains bound well with minor wear. Occasional light marginalia at front and back of book. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. A scarce revised edition on Masonic history and symbolism by the late British topographer William Hutchinson (1732-1814), an ardent Freemason and considered one of the most influential figures in documenting Masonic symbolism.
