About this Item
Rare 1918 pamphlet, one of three pamphlets prepared for the Britain's Day celebration. The others are "The Character of the British Empire" and "British-American Discords and Concords". This third of the trio is the guide for those speaking at the event, and the cover features the note: "Confidential, No part of this pamphlet to be published in any form until after the celebration of Britain's Day". There are a few instances of pencil lines along the sides of certain paragraphs, and there is a bit of light wear/tearing to the edges of the thin paper wraps, and the front/back folds are beginning to become a bit fragile, as expected for a pamphlet of this age. Nevertheless, a firmly Very Good+ copy of a rather rare piece of American-British propaganda history from the era immediately following the Great War. This is a staple-bound publication, 60 pp. Seller Inventory # ABE-1662481598467
