Contemporary calf with decorated tooled edges, rubbed but generally VG; later spine, incorporating repairs to front, in 6 panels with five bands; the spine title in gilt in the second panel. BInding strong and tight. Foxing to endpapers. Contemporary inscription on fep by Randoulph Greenway of Holborn suggests that the collation was made by in April 1720. Contemporary price of £3 4s 6d also on fep. Following unprinted recto has the contents of the book written out by Greenway. Tanning to edges and some foxing, especially to title pages, but the contents for the most part clean and bright. Small hole at the base of the page affecting the first few leaves only.
