Delightful book of 12 Songs for Children. Beautifully Illustrated with Full Page Colour Plates and Line Drawings in the wide Margins, by J. Littlejohns. Each song has the Verses and instructions for the Play, written by Eleanor Farjeon. There are no musical scores, probably to encourage children to be spontaneous and make up tunes. Undated Edition, circa very early 20th C. Gift inscription at bottom of ffep dated 1924. Buff Paper covered boards with Red & Black Lettering & Design on front & spine. 71 Pages, 310g, 8 3/4" Tall. Fine split to paper cover on lower right side of spine (4" long) but binding is firm and the split's quite hard to see. Slight edge wear a a little very light soiling to cover (see photo). Pages & Plates in very good, clean condition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 011910
