Recased retaining original binding of green cloth with gilt lettering and coloured pictorial decoration to spine and upper cover. Renewed endpapers. Top page edge gilt. Tissue guarded frontispiece and colour illustrations after paintings by Alberto Pisa (48, correct as list). Folding map to rear present and intact. Page edges browned, offsetting to endpapers, some spotting throughout, spotting to half title page, damp mark to top edge of tissue guard and title page, otherwise the book is in very good condition in good condition covers which are rubbed to spine and corners with small loss. 1069.
