This VG- quality book was published in 1928 by Grosset & Dunlap. It is 7-5/8" tall and has 216 numbered pages of text followed by 2 unnumbered pages of ads. This book has a mild lean, is extremely clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; head and heel of the spine are very lightly bumped with no fabric damage; the bottom edges have just a slight amount of wear. The spine has a vertical crease running most of its length. The binding looks very good and is still somewhat shiny. Except for 2-1/2" toned strips on both free end pages at the spine (see photo) the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. The hinges are strong and not damaged in any way. The frontis is present and not damaged. The paper is barely toned and though a tad bit stiff is quite flexible. The series lists at the rear of the book list do not list this series but do list through the 1926 Tom Swift title. The VG quality jacket has very tiny chips at both front corners and at the head and heel of the spine with slight wear along the front fold. There is no tape on this jacket. The spine is very slightly darkened. The list on the front flap the jacket lists the first 7 Ted Scott titles. Seller Inventory # BMR-2020-6-29-5
