Uses early spellings & typography; printed on paper with the Glaslan watermark. Gray cloth spine with a printed paper title label (and a duplicate label in the back of the book), gray paper over boards; glassine type paper dustjacket, numbered in pencil on the front panel: 105 (this paper shows age-related tanning & edge wear). In the scarce slipcase, which is covered in black paper, and shows a printed paper title label on the spine (the spine ends of this slipcase show some wear, wear to slipcase edges, corners). The endpapers show some light tanning that has transfered from the glassine dustjacket, a few, tiny tan spots are present on some pages. Rough cut edges, top edges are all unopened. Overall, a near fine copy of a fairly fragile book, rarely found with the original dustjacket or slipcase. Very scarce book; only 125 copies were printed for members of The Rowfant Club, of which, Benjamin Parsons Bourland was a member. Clark, Rowfant Bibliography.
