First published in 1947, this is the Sixth Edition (undated), in 172 pages, profusely illustrated throughout with black-and-white photos of the animals, buildings, gardens, & grounds. Softcover small octavo has bright orange wrappers decorated in black & white & gray with an image of a koala & white lettering to front cover; orig. $.50 price intact. Sketch map printed inside front cover, & a large 8-panel, full-color foldout map is attached in rear--this is hard-to-find intact & in place, & this one is perfect! Overall condition is a conservative VG+: completely clean, pages creamy white with mild tanning, but unmarked. Stapled binding is strong & straight, though staples show rust. Exterior shows a hint of soil & mild fading, very mild rubbing to extremities. Nicely protected in new clear mylar archival collector bag free!
