Contains information on the conquistadors, Father Hidalgo, Canales, Somervell Expedition, Mier Expedition, Fort McIntosh, Santos Benavides, the Civil War, Texas Rangers, Indians and Indian raids. Limited edition (500 copies) book is a compilation of a series of articles published by the Laredo Times in 1973-1974 on the military history of Laredo. Original artwork by Bruce Marshall, each chapter prefaced with a circular tipped in color illustration facing. LARGE. Media Mail USA delivery only.
