This SCARCE 125 pp. book was reprinted from the Journal of Negro History Vol. 3, #3 July, 1918. This extraordinary subject was a dissertation submitted to the faculty of Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, in partial fulfillment of requirements for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy. It has a negligible brown spot on the front page edges (as seen only when the book is closed).
