8vo. 6.5 x 9.5 inches. 174 pp. Bound in original blue cloth, gilt, with green spine title and decorations. Light wear to extremities and foxing of endpapers, but otherwise a very good copy. Bookseller's label of F. Weatherhead and Sons Ltd., Aylesbury on front pastedown. Illustrated by 48 pages of black and white plates paginated in text. A history of ship models, illustrated by examples from a number of collections, and including six of the author's poems. Cicely Fox Smith (1882-1954) was a poet, her work often covering nautical themes.
