Presented to the City and County Board of Supervisores for the convenience in considering the Company's application for a franchise to construct a tall bridge from San Francisco to the City of Oakland. It consists of (a) Report of the Company's Engineer outlining the location capacity, probable cost and contemplated type of the crossing proposed, (b) Report of H.G. Butler, Consulting Engineer, on the traffic and investment aspects of the crossing proposed. (c)Report of Geo. D. Louderback, Consulting Geologist, upon the probable effect upon the proposed structure from earthquakes. (d) Copies of certain correspondence between this Company and the Secretary of the Navy. A total of 90 pages plus foldout illustrations and diagrams. This proposal was not accepted by the Boards. Two of the foldouts had been removed but are now laid into their proper location.
