This edition was reprinted from Fitzgerald's translation published in Eighteen Hundred and Fifty-Nine and beautifully illustrated with decorative textual borders by Brangwyn along with 15 color tipped in plates derived from his original paintings with tissue guards present. A clean fresh copy bound in full vellum which looks nearly like a horse or cow's hide, spine and top edge gilt. A lovely copy with a bit of bowing to boards(as usual). Exceptionally nice.
