Grey cloth w/black lettering and red rose vignette. Moderate general wear and scuffing to boards with light rubbing to all edges, white lettering to spine shows rubbing. Front hinge is weak but not broken. Previous owner gift inscription to front endpaper. Text is clean and bright, no marks, lightly and evenly tanned. Frontis and illustrations throughout by Walter Biggs. Made into the 1917 film 'A Wife On Trial.'
