This VG- quality book was published in 1927 by Grosset & Dunlap. It is 7-5/8" tall and has 214 numbered pages of text followed by 4 unnumbered pages of ads. This book is square, extremely clean, free of edge dings with the upper front corner lightly bumped with no fabric damage; head and heel of the spine are also lightly bumped with no fabric damage; the bottom edges have very little wear. The binding looks new and is still somewhat shiny; the spine has a vertical crease running up the middle. Except for a neatly inked name on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. The hinges are strong and not damaged in any way. The frontis is present and not damaged. The paper is barely toned and though a tad bit stiff is quite flexible. The series lists at the rear of the book list the first 11 Ted Scott titles. The VG- quality jacket has tiny chips at all four corners and small chips at the head and heel of the spine; a 4-1/2" tear at the rear gutter-into-front panel and a 1" tear up the front gutter at the heel (both tears are taped on the reverse side of the jacket). The spine is slightly soiled. The front panel illustration is not faded and has only slight wear. The list on the front flap the jacket lists the first 10 Ted Scott titles.
