Large oblong format 275 x 390 mm. pp 257. In the original publisher s blind-stamped bevelled boards, with gilt-stamped title to upper. Red pebble-grained cloth has a few small chips, lettering very bright. Leather spine in account book style, slightly rubbed head and tail. Beautiful green and gilt printed reinforced exposed cloth-jointed endpapers, front paste-down bearing sellers ticket of "J. Vasquez Millan y Ca." Of Buenos Aires. A large and impressive collection of plates of the buildings, countryside and wildlife of Argentina in Edwardian times. All plates are printed within a red art nouveau style border, on glossy art paper. Seller Inventory # PS.024
