Near fine in gilt decorated full red leather covered boards with three raised bands on the spine, gilt edges to the text block, silk end papers and a silk placement ribbon sew-in at the head of the spine and with gilt edging to the text block. A small octavo of 7 7/8 by 5 1/2 inches. Much of the gilt edging on the top and bottom of the text block has flaked off. Without a dust jacket as issued. 245 pages of text with illustrations by Roland Descombes. One of the volumes from the Franklin Library's collection of The 100 Greatest Masterpieces of American Literature. Delivery within the US: $10.00 for Priority delivery for 1st book $5.00 for each book thereafter. $4.00 for Book Rate (Media Mail) for the first book and $2.00 for each additional book.
Canadian or Overseas Deliveries will be at cost. Connecticut residents please add 6.35% state sales tax.

Orders usually ship within 1 to 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or over-sized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping cost are required.
