About this Item
The seventh of only thirteen published issues of this short-lived, yet influential, fashion magazine founded in 1970 by original Rolling Stone photographer Baron Wolman, former Harper's Bazaar editor Mary Peacock, and Daphne Davis. The magazine showcased the authenticity, irreverence, and individual creativity of figures like Betty Davis, Ike and Tina Turner, Warhol stars Holly Woodlawn and Jane Forth, and the Cockettes while also drawing inspiration from the counterculture and other non-traditional sources of sartorial originality: cowboys, priests, meter maids, clowns, undertakers, and waitresses. Stapled, illustrated wrappers, 76 p., illustrated. A near fine copy. Seller Inventory # 12333
