Green boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Covers are well thumbed and rubbed, with some large swathes of discolouration upon front, back and spine. Head and tail of spine bumped, corners smooth and bear some heavy wear and tear. Free endpapers, pastedowns, title pages and most pages throughout bear moderate discolouration. Previous owner's inscriptions upon title page: 'M Fillans, May 1912', this inscription (minus the date) appears on page fore edge. Page edges are moderately discoloured, particularly at the head edge. Page edges, speckled. Binding is tidy, yet loose. Spine slightly cocked. This book is in poor condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound. Seller Inventory # MIL338
