Testo latino. Opera dedicata al Cardinale Ginetto Marzi. Cm.19,8x13,5. Pg.14. Coperta muta ottocentesca. Orazioni e canti di Girolamo Ricci, Pompeo Danzetti, Antonio Manfredi, Ippolito Maria Giani. Al frontespizio un'indicazione manoscritta (non verificata ma molto probabilmente esatta) suggerisce il nome del Curatore, "Bartolomeo Beverini". Discendente da famiglia lunigianese, il padre Beverini (Lucca, 1629-1686) fu membro della Congregazione dei Chierici Regolari della Madre di Dio. Grande conoscitore delle lingue classiche, insegnò teologia e retorica ed eloquenza a Lucca e a Roma. Fu fecondo compositore di rime religiose e liriche, e a lui si deve il celebre volgarizzamento in ottava rima dell'Eneide. 50 gr. Seller Inventory # 75173
