316 pages. Full calf binding with gilt pictorial spine, gilt lettering and with gilt dentelles on the edges, plus all edges gilt. This copy was specially bound for John Courtenay Esquire (with name stamped in gilt on front board), who was the Steward of the Turf Club and identified as such in the list of subscribers in the preface. Good condition though with some heavily rubbed spots on both boards--see my photos. A tight copy without owner names. Seller Inventory # 022846
