Size of binding: 3 7/8 in. x 6 5/8 in., [iv], [1]-300 pp. Quarter dark green morocco sides and corners by Hayday, with their binder s stamp on the reverse of the front endpaper, the spine has been skillfully replaced in dark green morocco leather in the style of the original 19th century binding, with five raised bands and gilt title & date; marbled paper-covered boards, and endpapers, top-edge gilt. 19th century, armorial bookplate of Jacob Clements, and a modern bookplate on the facing endpaper, inscription in ink on front flyleaf: Edward B. Keberden September 20-[18]/94. Marbled paper on boards shows some rubbing, light tan spotting to some page margins. Fore-edges & bottom edges of the pages have not been trimmed.
