"A collection of Psalms, Anthems, Chants, etc in 12 books for the voice and piano-forte or organ by Edwin Flood". Octavo. In soft covers as published. Slight foxing but all music very clear. This copy has been printed from engraved plates. The series of 12 books was advertised throughout the country in late 1848-early 1849. Edwin Flood (1824-1848) was organist at St Paul's Church, Honiton, Devon. Flood died aged 24, in as yet unknown circumstances, but had already finished this series of books called "Psalmodia Britanica" and had published a number of songs which became very popular.
