McGowan (Houston, Texas), 8 1/2 x 11 inches tall paperbound in pale orange printed covers with black cloth spine, typescript, printed only on recto side of each leaf, illustrated with a couple of black-and-white photographs, mixed pagination, about 130 pages total, plus errata slip laid in for Pruitt family. Slight to moderate soiling, abrasions and creasing to covers. Former genealogy library copy, with lined out stamps and discard stamps to top page edges, blank front and rear free-endpapers, and blank page opposite the dedication and acknowledgements page. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this rare genealogy and family history. Not in OCLC. [d3] ~SP21~ [2.0P] Looks at the ancestry of, and traces descendant families of Edward Popham (d. 1610) of Huntworth, England, with a particularly detailed section covering the descendants of Alfred Popham (1826-1895), born in Joplin, Missouri, and died near Groveton, Texas, and his wife Mary Titsworth.
