Hardcover. Condition: Fair - Cash. No Jacket. Surface and edge wear to the cover. The corners have been bumped. The boards are showing and beginning to fray in the corners. There are tears in the corners of the spine that are peeling the cover away, and revealing the binding. The cover has some soiling, scuffing and discoloration on the back cover. There are several cracks in the spine throughout the book. Some of the cracks reveal the binding and netting. The pages show reader wear. Previous owner's name inside. Charming colour illustrations by the author throughout. A charming little book featuring a collection of nursery songs in French & English, each with attractive illustrations. Polichinelle is the French version of Pulcinella, the character from the Italian Commedia Dell'Arte, usually known as Mr Punch in England. One of the songs included is about that character.
