Point Lobos State Reserve is located on the Pacific coastline of California south of Monterey Bay near the town of Carmel. This booklet was created by park rangers showing a trail map of the park along with hand illustrated descriptions of plant life found in the park. This printing includes a ten page list of the Flowering Plants found at Point Lobos State Reserve compiled in 1971 by a recognized authority on the flora of Monterey County, Ms. Beatrice Howitt. The Introduction by Ken Legg was dated May 1954, no other dates given in book. This is a unique botanical inventory of a US state park. Not many such inventories were ever attempted. This booklet has white cover with full color illustration front & back, stapled binding, utilizing semi-gloss paper for both interior and cover. No creases, minor indent marks from storage. Interior is tight, clean and unmarked. Because published and distributed by public entities, no copyright nor details of creation are found in this booklet. Original publication probably was just after May 1954 and this copy printed no earlier than 1971. Likely 1975 or later. No ISBN, LCCN nor MSR. Seller Inventory # 008122
