The Poet s Journal by Bayard Taylor, Ticknor & Fields, Boston, 1863, 204pp, with 16pp of publisher s list, blue violet cloth, 7.5 x 5 , 12mo. In good condition. Spine and edges are faded from sun damage with some irregular spotting to front and rear boards. Centers are a darker violet color. Nicely ruled. Light wear to extremities with minor scuffing to corners and end bands. Small tears to top right corner and bottom corner of front fly leaf. Interior lightly toned with minimal foxing. Free of known markings. Binding intact. Top edge gilt. Please see photos. 1st edition.
