Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt titles, 3 raised gilt bands, gilt decoration to the compartments, the outer tips of the spine are also gilt. Joints good condition gently rubbed and worn. Corners good condition gently bumped and worn. Boards good condition full leather binding with intricate blind tooled decoration to both boards with a decorative gilt border, the outer edges of the boards are also gilt. Page edges good condition top edge slightly darkened, all marbled. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition intact. Paste downs good condition marbled. End papers good condition marbled, subsequent end papers tanned and foxed. Title good condition. Pages good condition small vignette frontispiece together with numerous other woodcut vignettes throughout, lightly tanned with minor foxing in places. Binding good condition attractive. See photos.
