Full contemporary calf rebacked with original spine laid down. Some wear to corners. This printing is known as the first Chiswick Press edition. The 4 photographs are a portrait, from a painting, of Thomas Gray; a distant prospect of Eton College; a view of Stoke Poges church-yard; and a view of Hatton Hall. The presentation leaf is inscribed for Louis Henrico Symonds by Edvardus Balston. Balston was Headmaster from 1862 to 1868. Gernshiem 188. A large book which may be subject to additional postage.
