Illustrated with pen drawings, although the illustrator is not identified. The book is intact with the covers and its original dust jacket. There is an old signature on the ffep - Mrs N.E. Davis. The cover is in very good condition, considering its age. There is some wear to the coners but in excellent overall condition. The cover has an attractively embossed floral pattern. Dust jacket with chips at the crown and foot of the spine and samaller chips in the corners and along the edges, separeted at the fold of the spine on one end. With an attractive floral design decoration to the front and spine. Back of the cover titled "The Best American Poets" lists the rest of the illustrated editions published by Grosset & Dunlap - Longfellow, Holmes and Lowell. An excellent sample of the original dust jacket designs of the time. Uncommon especially with a 17th century dust wrapper. Size: 6½" x 9". Seller Inventory # 272632
