This 5 x 3.5, 419 page book with blue cloth boards blind-stamped, with gilt lettering and decorations on the spine and all edges gilt. Some moderate wear to covers with one half-inch tearing to the cover on the spine. Wear to the corners with softening of the bottom two corners specially. Two small spots of unknown origin on the back cover. Otherwise the cover is tight and in better than good condition. The interior is very nice with little to really note in respect to damage or defects. This book does contain a number of laid-in papers, cards, and pictures from an 1800's owner. There is a paper pasted on the ffep noting the gifting of the book. A second gift notation on the front flyleaf dated 1869, as well as several other laid-in tidbits from long ago. Although the condition and desire for this book suggests a higher price, we wish to offer it at a lower cost and offer it as an honest bargain to today's collector. 419 pages.
