About this Item
Undated but according to Wikipedia, Charles died in 1877 and Mary in 1898. Some suggest around 1890. Cassell & Company Ltd. Vol 1- 712pp, Vol 2 - 596pp, Vol 3 - 775pp. First volume consists of the comedies, the second history and the third tragedies. These three volumes cover all of Shakespeare's works and contain beautiful illustrations by H.C. Selous. Bindings are sound apart from volume three which is split at the bottom, there are also very small traces of white paint on the top and bottom edges - see photographs.
