Oblong 10 1/4" x 8 1/4", stiff card covers, 12 pp. + 3 p. transfers laid in. Undated, circa 1900-1920. Subtitled, 'To Keep Busy the Little Hands and Little Head'. 'No. 982', 'Printed in Germany' on front cover. Extremely rare children's storybook with color transfers to rub in to scenes on pages. WorldCat shows one copy in the entire world. Color copies of pages from this book are sold online for $15 or more. THAT is how classic and sought-after the artwork in this storybook is. This copy about Very Good or better. See both photos enlarged. It actually has 3 pages of unused transfers laid in (one page has 2 transfers cut out). Some pages have transfers affixed and one of those has some loss of the transferred images (which are a very thin film really). Cover condition is very good with only noticeable wear at corners with some chipping (more so on the back, with one corner tip chipped off); two black dots at a margin on the back as well.
