Complete suite P consisting of 6 large numbered etched plates, with plate numbers 1-6 and 87-92, showing elevations and plans for pavillions: country houses, a summerhouse, and a bird aviary in a beautiful garden, with fountains; title and explicatory text in French and German. c. 30,0 x 20,2 cm (plate marks).*Kat. Orn. Berlin No. 2005. Döry, Kat. Orn. Hamburg 1960, 498. Bernhard Christoph Anckermann was a German architect and designer of many ornament prints. The plates are part of his "Unterschiedliche Architectonische Risse und Anleitungen", a series of many hundreds of plates of architectural designs for various types of buildings, which were published in installments. No complete copy seems to be recorded. - Ample margins; first plate smaller margins, probably from another set; first plate slightly thumbed; a few brown spots.[(6044)]. Seller Inventory # 6044
