First printing Near fine in dark brown ribbed cloth covered boards with gilt text on the spine and blind embossed borders on the boards. A small quarto measuring 9 1/2" by 6" with just a hint of rubbing to the cloth at the heel of the spine. Without a dust jacket and probably as issued. Contained within Collections Of The Connecticut Historical Society Volume XIX. 311 pages (many of which are unopened) including an index. Many of the letters and documents reprinted within this volume relate to the Colony's reaction to the imposition of the Stamp Act. The source for these letters and documents were the records from the Public Record Office in London and the Trumbull Papers from the Massachusetts Historical Society. Seller Inventory # TB25130
