Marbled endpapers. Corners are bumped. There are several light smudges in margins on p.114 and p. 290. Notations in pencil by a previous seller on the ffe. Otherwise, pages are clean, smooth and unmarked. Includes twelve full color plates by the English artist Frank C. Pape. Tipped in envelope containing news clipping from the May,14,1928 edition of The Christian Science Monitor. The article concerns the tercentenary of the birth of John Bunyan.
