Very clean original orange cloth binding with hard spine tips and sharp corners to boards, with green letters to the spine; very neat and short (two words) previous owner's mark to half-title page; very clean and tight text block with no spotting or sunning. Dust jacket condition: Very Good: striking blue, red and white front cover and spine by George Mansell, with a scene from the eponymous film of refugees fleeing the German invasion to the verso; very small losses to spine tip edges and to top edge of verso and scuffs to some edges; not price clipped (8s 6d).
