An amateur photographer's photo album circa the 1920s with well-shot photographs of their time in Denver, Colorado. The pictures span from visiting bears at the zoo to capturing photographs of animals in their natural habitat. Some of the animals pictured include deer, cows, swans, ducks, caribou, goats, geese, and the focus which seems to be bears. Multiple bears from different zoos are photographed, one of which shows a zookeeper next to a small baby black bear. A group photo of people feeding a deer at the City Park in Denver is coupled with shots of the Thatcher Memorial Fountain (State of Colorado Fountain). The album has candid captures of people during their daily lives in Denver include shots of parades, the line for entering a racetrack, groups of people ice skating in the snow, and boating docks with people swimming in summer. Well composed landscapes of Colorado rivers, mountains, and the city are seen in the album, showing just how small but developed Denver was in the 1920s. Other photographs of interest include an airplane in flight over a large field and shots of the Colorado State Capitol Building. An excellent amateur photographers album of various locations in Denver Colorado in the 1920s showing the historical landmarks still present today. Seller Inventory # 444213
