About this Item
Illustrated tri-fold pamphlet advertising the Perspectoscope, a kind of stereoscope that purports to "Double the value of the Camera" and "make its pictures look like the real object" (i.e. three-dimensional). Includes a photo of a child looking through the scope exclaiming, "Oh, Grandpa! It's just Beautiful". Inside, diagrams of the scope's construction are included alongside a lengthy discussion of the product's strengths over its competitors. Perspectoscope is the trade-name of an instrument which enhances the perspective suggestion of a photograph, outline-drawing, etc., and thus simulates a stereoscopic effect. Very good. Toned, with some sunning. Letter folds. Seller Inventory # 22000884
