No jacket. Front board soiled, page ridges lightly foxed. 1935 Hard Cover. xvi, 206 pp. French text. Author was Eleanor Lansing Dulles's husband. Edited with Introduction, Notes, Exercises, and Vocabulary by D.S. Blondheim. An Iceland Fisherman ( Pêcheur d'Islande, 1886) is a novel by French author Pierre Loti. It depicts the romantic but inevitably sad life of Breton fishermen who sail each summer season to the stormy Iceland cod grounds.
