8vo. 6.5 x 9.75 inches. 80 pp. Text in French. In original pictorial paper wrappers, bound in quarter green morocco, gilt, over marbled boards; spine with raised bands. Marbled endpapers. A little wear to extremities and spine sunned, with very good interior. Illustrated by 8 colour vignettes, including frontispiece and endpiece, and numerous black and white vignettes in text, and by music. Satirical songs and drawings to mark the four year long German occupation of the city of Lille, 1914-18 with a preface by the Mayor of Lille.
