Printed in Edinburgh, Scotland by Turnbull and Spears, in 1907, this is a very nice example of the C. E. Brock illustrated edition of Jane Austen?s classic ?Pride and Prejudice?, featuring the front cover and spine highly decorated and ornamented in gilt, top edge gilded, internally beautifully illustrated with a decorative title page and twenty-four colour plates. This example has the remains of the front panel and inner flap of the scarce dustjacket present, covers nice and clean, page edges remain untrimmed as issued, some noticeable browning to endpapers, some creasing wear to frontispiece tissue guard, foxing marks to the reverse of a few of the plates, else the contents are generally nice and clean. Overall a very nice example of this beautifully produced edition of this much loved classic. Seller Inventory # 003363
