Smith Elder, 1868, first edition in book form, being a reprint of the Report on Wines for the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1867 with additions and corrections, 18 x 12 cm., 106 pages, original cloth, a little foxing mostly to the title-page & blank facing, otherwise in very good condition with very bright covers. NOTE: Variant issue with "Reprint.of the Report on Wines" etc. printed on the title page. See the Preface to Denman's "What Should We Drink?", 1868, which refers to the different issues. At least three can be identified as well as one or more issues in paper covers. Seller Inventory # 434
