A pair of books "The Outline of History" Volume I and Volume II. Both books have lovely navy blue cloth hardbacks, with gorgeous gilt titles down the spine and decorative impressions on front cover. Normal wear and marks apply consistent with use and age. Volume I has titles page slightly coming away from spine and in Volume II index pages 745 and 747 have bottom right corner of page torn away and missing. Some shelf-life wear and marks to edging and some very slight foxing to inside cover pages. Otherwise boths books are in ok condition and have plenty of use and life left for the next generations. Volume I has 384 pages, whilst Volume II continues from page 385 to 767. All text and illustrations are in good clean, readable order. Personal pen inscription on inside cover in Volume I. Both books are revised editions 1925, First Published in 1920. Published by The Waverley Book Company. Maps and Plans by J.F. Horrabin. Wonderful black and white and colourful illustrations throughout both volumes. Please not these books are heavy and large and therefore postage/shipping may increase in price from listed price depending on final destination.
