19cm x 12.5cm [pocket size], viii, 92pp plus 32pp [adverts]. Internally pages bound with staples which have rusted, hence *** some pages loose *** o/w complete. Maroon cloth covers, gilt to front cover & spine, horizontal lines [black] along top/bottom edges to covers & spine, bevelled edges. Black endpapers. Covers - spine rubbed, age soiling o/w in Good condition consistent with age. "William Barnes was an English polymath, writer, poet, philologist, priest, mathematician, engraving artist and inventor.
