Out of the Silent Planet is the first book in C. S. Lewis's Space Trilogy. A 3rd edition with "Cheap edition" dust jacket. Original orange cloth boards with black lettering on the spine. Slight lean to the book. Fading and light wear to the spine ends. Previous owners signature on the front free page. The contents are browned and clean. The clipped dust jacket with chipping and loss to the spine and fold ends affecting the text of "C. S. Lewis". 2cm closed tear on the front of the jacket. Small blue stain on the front cover. Advertisements of the other two books in the Space Trilogy on the rear of the dust jacket. Produced to war economy standards. Seller Inventory # 000922
