About this Item
Later printing in a later style jacket. Introduction by Bernardine Kielty. Blumenthal style 8 teal cloth stamped in black and gilt. Light dampstains on bottom edges of cloth, spine cocked with ends and corners bumped, and African scholar Prosser Gifford on the front fly, thus good only in a very good price-clipped dust jacket with extremities worn and nicked. The author's best known work, a fond evocation of Kenya and its wildlife suggested by her experience running a coffee plantation. Sydney Pollack directed the 1985 film version starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. Seller Inventory # 588721
